Cllr John Ogle
Councillor John Ogle was elected in 2013 to serve the Tuxford division on Nottinghamshire County Council. He also represents the East Markham ward on Bassetlaw District Council.
John serves as Vice-Chairman of the Finance and Major Contracts committee, scrutinising the major contracts taken on by the Council to ensure they are bringing value for money. He also sits on the Personnel and Communities & Place committees, and has previously been involved with the Health Scrutiny and Public Health committees.
In the past, he has campaigned successfully to have strict speed limits outside of local schools, and has passionately supported the East Markham Primary School’s bid for a hall.
John keeps in regular contact with his local parish councils and is available to meet constituents at any mutually convenient time, at a suitable venue.
