Cllr Reg Adair

Councillor Reg Adair represents the division of Ruddington and Leake alongside Councillor Andrew Brown. Reg was first elected to Nottinghamshire County Council to represent the Ruddington division in 2005. He is also a Rushcliffe Borough Councillor representing the Bunny ward and a member of Bradmore Parish Council.

Reg is the Deputy Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council, and Chairman of the Improvement and Change Subcommittee – working to ensure that the Council is delivering modern, efficient services to local residents.
Born on a farm on the west coast of Ireland and one of eight children, his career was spent mainly in the textile industry. He no longer works full-time but still does some mentoring and business consultancy work.

In the past, Reg has served as the Chairman of the Finance & Property and Pensions Committees. He has also sat on committees including Audit, Policy, Public Health, and the Nottinghamshire Health & Wellbeing Board.

Reg is available to meet constituents at any mutually convenient time and place.
