Cllr Stuart WallaceCouncillor Stuart Wallace was elected to Nottinghamshire County Council to represent the Newark East division at a by-election held in September 2009, which he has represented ever since.
Stuart is the Chairman of the Council’s Adult Social Care & Health Committee, working with fellow Councillors to ensure that the needs of Nottinghamshire residents are met by local health and social care bodies. He also acts as the Council’s representative on several outside bodies including the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the Lilley & Stone Charity Trust, and the Magnus Educational Foundation. Stuart is married with two daughters and two grandchildren. In his spare time he is a keen golfer and a fan of good food and real ale. He particularly enjoys being out in the fresh air and can regularly be seen cycling around the town. He is available to meet constituents at any mutually convenient time and venue.
