Cllr Tracey Taylor
Cllr Tracey Taylor moved to Bassetlaw when her sons were young, and soon became involved in local playgroups, schools, and her parish church. She is also passionate about local heritage, and supported local Conservative efforts to restore landmarks such as the Historic School Clock.
Since then, she has been proud to represent the residents of Sutton ward on Bassetlaw District Council. In her time as a District Councillor, Tracey has worked alongside the Tinker Lane Community Liaison Group to address their local planning concerns. She was also a strong voice in the the campaign to stop Bassetlaw from joining the Sheffield City Region without a proper say. In May 2017, Tracey succeeded Liz Yates as the County Councillor for Misterton. Her priorities are to push for more support for families, continued investment in the County's villages and rural communities, and working to protect services at Bassetlaw District Hospital. Tracey is currently one of the Vice-Chairmen of the County Council's Children and Young People Committee, working alongside Cllrs Philip Owen and Boyd Elliott.
